China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider

This was my first ever show. There were, I think, songs played I didn't even really know. This show did the trick. And yeah - the FOB audiences are killer - especially @4:30 where the crowd and Garcia incite each other. Love those moments - some of my fondest Dead show memories.
Help On The Way > Slipknot > Franklin's Tower

Energetic Help followed by a frantic, ultimately dramatic Slipknot! The jam they get into at around 5:30 is what we call in the business A KEEPER.

Definitely deserving of more votes. Lovely coronation entrance, with Weir slicing & dicing while Garcia gets settled in. At about 5:15 Garcia approaches his solo with knife & fork. A short story ensues. As I listen, I make a mental note to see what else darkstar67 recommends. He & I seem to agree on much. Yes, we are more alike than you care to admit to yourself - isn't it so Count Brampton? Or should I call you by your REAL NAME: Mrs. Horace Beban? ---------------- in the outro, Garcia scans the closet for the perfect pair of slippers. Tries a couple on for size. When he hits the right pair, it's comfortland for everyone! Such a sweet version of this delight.

I'm still recovering from one of the best Tennessee Jeds I've ever heard. This gooey beast is the perfect reflection chair. Out on a big elevated deck on a calm, still evening. Fucking great show.

Fuuuuuuck. They melt into this flying charm bracelet from an emotional, dramatic space jam and you couldn't have a fluffier landing. Godchaux & Lagin rule a large portion of the first 3 minutes or so. Unique & drop dead gorgeous. Garcia is in his hifi smoke cloud glory - just pure medicinal majesty. And the matrix recording is underpants drawer.
