I love what Playin' became in '72-'73, but this is a great clue. You can hear the excitement when they decide to take it out beyond the usual just a little bit. A version that shines a light on its future potential.

Love the transition from Dark Star, but even without that, this version stands up as an all-timer. Just killer all the way through. And I agree w/darkstar67 re the Merriweather '85 Shakedown.
