This one is the sound of a band that knows it can do pretty much anything. Smooth and fiery.

An 11-minute colossus. Very much in the spirit of the great 1970 versions, but obviously more spacious. Lesh & Garcia never really ease off. Intense and suspenseful. Ace shit.

Thunderous version. They played everything great in the Spring of 77, but sometimes the Other Ones get a little overlooked. Not sure why - they go as inside/out as any and explore some super strange worlds. 3:30-4 or so Garcia and Weir do a cracked-up call/response.

Yes DS67 - this is really sweet show. 78's all over the map, but this is one of those shows that gives this year some muscle. Great tempo on this Playing - Kreutzmann and Lesh are locked in. I love the patience in the space out - a quick pace doesn't mean you have to rush. They ride the wave perfectly - keep the dynamics cushiony.

I accidentally landed on this and W-O-W. From the jump, Garcia can't wait to tell the story. Really, I had somewhere to be, but I'm not going anywhere until I see the other side of this superb Other One. Some semi-undiscovered country. Everyone has arrived with Full Game.

What a sleigh ride! Garcia and Lesh repave the whole joint - top sleeve playing here. A memorable one. Should have lots more votes.
