Ripping opener with a unique solo from Jerry!

Jerry and Bob are both really good on this one. Phil and Bill drive it forward nicely as well -- doesn't drag at all like some do.

Not the best vocally, but very good instrumentally.

Billy really makes this one -- some very cool snare and hi-hat work starting just before 2:00!

Very technically sound — almost like he’s doing a rudiment exercise for much of it, which is fine by me!

Uncle John's Band
May 11, 1972
Rotterdam Civic Hall

Such a soothing (pre-OMSN) finish to this epic, Top 5 show of all time. Jerry does some really cool stuff during the 7/4 section.
Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad
May 3, 1972
Olympia Theater

This version of this oft-played sandwich is better than most, that's for sure. Bubbling over with euphoric energy, driving home one of the best shows ever in style.

Musikhalle

Faster than most! Some great tambourine work during the solo as well...
Morning Dew
April 29, 1971
Fillmore East

One of my favourite versions -- tempo and dynamics are just right, which is more important than "shreddiness" to me when it comes to Dew. And as others have said, it's one that really benefits from Pig's organ filling the gaps in the soundscape.
Greatest Story Ever Told

Some funny banter after this one
