Like the night before, a great version from a legendary show that I'm surprised wasn't already here...

Shocked this wasn't here already...gorgeous version from a legendary show, about two weeks before they recorded the studio version.

The Eleven
Feb. 28, 1969
Fillmore West

This is the version that got me hooked on the song -- as a c. 2015 convert, I actually heard the Fillmore West 1969 compilation release before I heard Live/Dead (listening to the four complete shows for the first time as we speak). This Eleven still ranks very high for me, possibly #1.

It's the mellow, introverted little brother of the energetic, extroverted 2/27 version...two sides of the same coin almost.
The Other One
Feb. 28, 1969
Fillmore West

Hell of a Cryptical on this one...wow! The rest is great too obviously.
Turn On Your Love Light

Fillmore West

Jerry is on FIRE on this one, and the others are right there with him stride for stride. Some seriously hot soloing.
Good Morning Little Schoolgirl

Great solos by Pig and Jerry as others have said. Jerry's is so authoritative! Bob is doing some really neat stuff too btw...
