Little ragged vocally, but a beautiful end to a wide-ranging and justly famous show.

Solidly played, beautiful cacophony at the end as the band varies the outro themes.

Whoa, I need to listen to this whole show. Came here after a solid "China > Rider," and liked what I heard.
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider

Wow. I got off on the China, but the Rider boogies. Jerry has a steady hand tonight, what rhythm!

grendel, your pic reminds me of several experiences I had walking my black lab in the hot KY sunshine listening to this song, and to Phil and Jerry's lines. Became the first Jerry solo I ever learned, and the first time I was able to see it coming out of his hands as he played. Probably better versions out there, but powerful stuff for me.

This show is quickly becoming one of my favorites from this month, and I think this version is particularly expressive.

cgarces, thanks for the heads-up on this. It seems we have similar tastes in "S-F"s (I'm a big fan of 5-17-77 as well), and I think the version from the '82 Manor Downs show might be worth the re-listen. [edit:] Also, can you recommend a good AUD of this? I love the sound of a good AUD from MSG.
