Very nice vibe on this. Brent's keys.

The "Strangers" from this whole run seem uniformly hot, and this doesn't disappoint.

Digging some 1990s spring tour lately. The LIG from this show is obviously magical, but there's great stuff throughout.

Wish they would have nailed the back-to-back premieres, but

Worth a listen to the first Althea on the historic night of Tiger's premiere.

Wonderful show– you can hear the band waiting for someone in the audience to yell out something they want to play, and they latch onto "DS" and move quick. Slow build (even with the loud guiro in the mix), with the wonderful ambience of those early 70s auditorium recordings. Great matrix of this!

Nice slow build, and some nice vocal work.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain

Manor Downs

Holds a special place in my heart since it was one of my first tapes, but Garcia is ON the entire time. Listen to the crowd react as they know they are watching it go down.

Jerry's voice draws you right in and holds you. The pacing is just right, building energy until Phil destroys your speakers and Jerry takes off. The rest of the band seems to be pushing along during the respite, but Jerry is not to be rushed, and he drags out the climax. Everyone is contributing. It's against received wisdom to pull for music from shows this late into the 90s, but you're missing out in this case, this is solid playing.
Help On The Way > Slipknot > Franklin's Tower

Absolutely. They're next on my list.
