They Love Each Other
Aug. 4, 1979
Oakland Auditorium
Unless I'm very much mistaken, this is the premiere of Tiger.

Iowa State Fairgrounds
There are some nice moments in the show before this, but it really takes off around here.

Truly beautiful version.

Bertha

Iowa State Fairgrounds
The bass cut at the start of this is a tragedy. Still a great version.

Keystone
I know this is JGB, but it's one of the best versions and absolutely needs to be listed.

Avalon Ballroom
Phenomenal stuff.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
April 20, 1984
Philadelphia Civic Center
I wanted a great '84 S>F, I came, I got one.
Not Fade Away
Jan. 22, 1978
McArthur Court, U of Oregon
Jerry is so far into the zone here it’s almost ludicrous. Nice repeated note anchoring idea about 10:00 in, which gives us a hint of the overlapping parts I associate with ’73 era ensemble playing, and the ending vocal jam doesn’t disappoint either.
St. Stephen
Jan. 22, 1978
McArthur Court, U of Oregon
I think it works as a stand-alone version, from the "Close Encounters" jam, or in the middle of that titanic second set jam. What's not to love about this?
Terrapin Station
Jan. 22, 1978
McArthur Court, U of Oregon
Agree that the version isn't anything out of the ordinary, but it does kick off a great sequence.
