Lost Sailor -> Saint of Circumstance

Key element of the weirdness of this show for me.

Infused with the same reggae/calypso quirkiness from the stellar "S>F" and before.

My favorite shows always tend to start with this. Weird.

Dupree's Diamond Blues

The quirk of this is when I felt the show take on its own character.

You can hear the entire band stop playing as individuals and start playing as a whole during the middle of this. Powerful stuff.

Gets a vote for the AUD. I prefer Moore's recording on 04-30 (more well balanced with low frequencies, without the boomy-ness of 05-01). Feel quite fortunate to have these tapes around! Also Keith shines this entire Palladium run.

Wow! Full of energy, and Keith shovels coal into the fire of the final section. Band sounds like a roaring dragon on the AUD.

A monster “NFA.” This is a bit slower than the latter May versions, but no less hot. Jam changes at around 8:40 in. Long and multifaceted playing. Deserves more votes.

I don't hear this as the best of the year (honestly by a long shot), but the following "NFA" is some hot shit.
