Follows a tasty "Playing" to wrap up Set I. There are problems with the sound (AUD patch), which just lets you hear the crowd roar.

I haven't checked the AUD out, but the Miller remaster sounds quite good to me!

And dig where it is in the midst of a monster second set!

Awesome man, thanks! I'm spooling it up now (I recently got a *massive* hard drive of various shows, if anyone's interested...). And I totally understand your point; those early versions are phenomenal, and Jerry's just able to do more physically around the instrument sometimes. I also get how this is fundamentally a different sounding band than the one from that decade. I personally like it, but I also fully understand why others don't. It might be an aesthetic preference, but this is a short textbook of things I love about their sound from any era, and anyone who can recommend me similar sounds is warmly welcome! I'm tucking into the '77 now!

I've heard a lot of these, and this is a superior version. Absolutely worth a listen, and definitely worthy of an up vote.

Grendel, you mentioned an October (?) 1977 show once that you said was your favorite. Could you remind me what that was again? And anyone else reading this who wants to pile on, please do!!! Also wanted to give a bump to this version. I know I got overexcited the first time (and God bless you cgarces for listening), but it is a superior version. Jerry's dialed in tone-wise, the band's boogie-ing, and Hornsby's taking everything up a notch.
