Freedom Hall

In addition to the great playing throughout this first set, you can grin at the several musical references to the Derby that the boys threw in.

Light first half of a titanic encore. The anniversary's coming up, might as well give the show a listen...

I know most folks are indifferent re this song, but this type of mid-tempo bouncing shuffle is one of the things I love most about this band.

Nice version!
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain

This is a really nice version, and I enjoyed the transition. I also really enjoy Garcia’s effects palette from these years. Sound isn’t great, has anyone heard any AUDs of this?

Thanks, man. I think everyone should give this whole show a listen, it's a solid one. I need to go through it again and comment/upvote on stuff like that stellar "PITB."

Stark and stunning move from "Eyes," and the dark>light move is both structural in this song, and represents that shifts occurring throughout this sequence. Great stuff.

Worth another note- the move from "DS" is sublime, and the move into the minor jam at the end prepares "China Doll" nicely. Also, I'm pretty sure that Jerry reprises an idea from the "DS" here, though I'd have to give it another listen to be sure.
