Heady "PITB > Drums > TOO > Comes a Time > PITB."

One of the best versions I've ever heard, even with the not-so-great AUD.

Dig into this nice first set "Estimated." Phil joins in on riffing on the main riff, which I’ve not heard before on this tour. Nice solo.

Lovely playing and singing from Jerry, and Keith is all over this first set.

Great Phil rips, nice vocal harmonies. Nice soloing on “Supplication.”

The opening synth parts sound really cool, and really mark a distinctive break from many of their sounds in the 70s. Does Jerry get some of his ideas about his ideal 80s tone from these colors?

Glad you liked the S>F, and the whole sequence is great. I found the China > Rider here: https://archive.org/details/gd1979-02-03.set1.sbd.fixed-102851.miller.102876.flac16 Beware the huge Phil sound!

Listen to Jerry kick things up a notch during his first solo in "Rider." It's like he thought things were poking along, and definitely revs the engine.
