They Love Each Other
Aug. 4, 1979
Oakland Auditorium
Unless I'm very much mistaken, this is the premiere of Tiger.

Jack Straw
June 16, 1974
Iowa State Fairgrounds
There are some nice moments in the show before this, but it really takes off around here.

Iowa State Fairgrounds
Truly beautiful version.

Bertha
June 16, 1974
Iowa State Fairgrounds
The bass cut at the start of this is a tragedy. Still a great version.

They Love Each Other

Keystone
I know this is JGB, but it's one of the best versions and absolutely needs to be listed.

Estimated Prophet
May 15, 1977
St. Louis Arena
I'm kind of new here, so if there's a more experimental version of this tune from the month, can someone point me in its direction?
Eyes Of The World
May 15, 1977
St. Louis Arena
I'm kind of new here, so forgive a couple of stupid questions: this seems pretty fast, but is that just me needing to get out more? And is the banter before "Estimated" the band talking about moving from there to here? And gotta love the ending, he tears it up!
Scarlet Begonias
Aug. 6, 1974
Roosevelt Stadium
It's best to hear it in the context of the surrounding "Playings," but it stands on its own as well. Listen to the AUD to hear the interaction between Garcia and Lesh.
Playin' In The Band
Aug. 6, 1974
Roosevelt Stadium
Monster version, and the AUD is worth a listen, you can really hear the crowd react.
Bird Song
Oct. 18, 1989
The Spectrum
Great version with some nice MIDI work from Jerry. Deserves a listen!
