^^^ If you're skeptical of this version because of the lack of SBD read the above posts. This source is a great example of why AUDs should not be written off

I've heard the name but never listened-- listening to new speedway right now real quick before class. I dig the chilled out groove with that bassline. Killer stuff and that fat guitar tone is sick as well

It makes me beyond sad that so many of these ‘70 stars lack a SBD or a better AUD. If your favorite part of the 2/13 star is the jamming pre verse, this one will do a lot for you— Jerry plays with some very interesting riffs. Not the worst AUD quality either, you can hear everybody pretty clearly. Just be warned there’s a brutal cut to post verse only a few minutes in, and another cut, this one not as brutal, but a cut nonetheless, from deep into the post verse jam to the second verse. Extremely tragic, but better than nothing I suppose. The more of these AUD ‘70 stars I listen to the more I realize 2/13 and 9/19 were not anomalies in the slightest. This would be miles higher up if there were a SBD.

I wrote this one off when I first saw it several months ago just because there was no SBD-- big mistake. "A flurry of Jerry-ness," as ds67 put it is spot on when it comes to describing the outro in this one. Only Jerry could play like that and make it sound so blissful-- the notes just keep coming and coming and it is oh so good. For the record the Timothy Knight AUD source is actually fantastic; it's got that very intimate warmth that makes AUDs worthwhile and while it's hard to hear Bobby's guitar sometimes everything else comes through great. This one oughta be a lot higher, and the eyes that comes afterward ain't no slouch either.
