Finally got around to listening to this. Not an insane peak in terms of energy or momentum, but more of a blissful, tranquil peak that is built up slowly over those last 5 or so minutes. Whole band is just completely locked in, amazing riffs from Jerry & Bobby and Brent's keyboard adds so much. Beautiful version, and I have no issue with it being at the top although on some days I might still prefer Egypt '78

Great rec ds67. I dig Bobby's riffing at the beginning of the first break-- usually Jerry immediately comes in for the solo but it's cool when he backs off a little to let Bobby build a foundation first. Keith's funky little jam at the end is also a ton of fun

I really wish Bobby didn't fuck up the vocal reentry on this one, because otherwise this is the definition of heady. Jerry is going full schizo mode in the outro>caution jam. He's playing some truly strange, erratic licks.

Completely speechless at that transition into uncle, made me grin so hard. Then immediately back into O1 intensity, just wow. Incredible shit from the boys here. This is 100% a show that I'm gonna end up coming back to-- need to start from dark star through to O1 next time

Will definitely check this one out. I love when the band jams into MAMU-- the rheinhalle dark star MAMU sandwich is one of my favs
