If Jerry didn't absolutely massacre the lyrics here, I'd easily consider this to be the best post-Hornsby "Shakedown"; as it is, however, Jerry gets maybe 30 % of the words right, and that's being generous. The jamming, however, is spectacular: lean, focused and powerful. Fast but disciplined, well navigated, and Jerry gets some pretty killer guitar work in. A highlight for 1995.

Hopefully the new DP will give this one some fresh, crispy upvotes. A very sharp, articulate version, with just enough of that dark 1984 energy beneath the surface. Brilliant from end to end.
