Structurally identical to the version on 2/26, but the dynamic swings and melodic inventiveness of Jerry’s solo elevate this to one of the truly great versions.

This is an underrated highlight of an overlooked show. Wedged between two titanic performances, and hobbled by a setlist that looks boring on paper, 2/4 nevertheless cooks. This Black Peter is an absolute beast with a lovely solo and tremendous, slow-burning outtro jam.

This one took me by surprise. They had obviously rehearsed it for the acoustic sets earlier in the fall and it the they're much tighter than I expected. Jerry's vocals are sweet and his solo glitters.

Multiple lyric flubs on Garcia’s part but he more than compensates with wickedly hot soloing. He even rips it up during the “anymore” coda, which I’ve not heard him do on any other version.
