Uncle John's Band

Nice jammy Uncle John's sandwiched between Shakedown and Playin. I prefer the Eaton AUD over the SBD as of 2/13/23.

Really great, lovely extended intro thx to Jerry. Everyone is on point and is a nice transition from the beautiful Comes a Time that preceeded it

Dire Wolf

Frost Amphitheater

Despite the lack of vocals at the very beginning this is a great laid back Dire Wolf. The Frost is a nice place to space your face (~):)

Phil's singing is really solid on this one, band doesn't stumble over each other.

Turn On Your Love Light

Valentine's Day '88 - very fitting for them to close with Lovelight. They played Lovelight at every Valentines show. Great band interplay

This one will knock your socks off - heady version and a nice mix!
West L.A. Fadeaway

Saenger Performing Arts Center

Very nice early Fadeaway, the first highlight of this show for me so far. Very uneven energy in this first but this Fadeaway rocks!

Wang Dang Doodle

Wow...totally overlooked. Literally the second vote smh. I know people have varied opinions on Jerry's MIDI experiments in the late 80's to 90's but the horn sound in the start just really gets me going here. The ultramatrix is UNBELIEVABLY good - one of the best recordings you can find. Band is in TOP shape despite the shaky start to Half-Step
