Latest Dave’s Version is solid. Slower than some versions but very bluesy and Pig is at his best

Interesting song and show. Not a good recording and not the best show but worth a listen. Honky Tonk Women? From NFA on, it sounds like the Dead.

He's Gone
April 17, 1972
Tivolis Koncertsal

1972 “He’s Gone”s are great. I like the original E72 album version better but this is always a great song, at least when it isn’t lost in space.
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
April 17, 1972
Tivolis Koncertsal

Listening to this show now. This version is amazing. The playing is beautiful all around. Perhaps a little mellower than some others but as beautiful as any. The Rider portion reminds me of Harpur, only electric.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
May 21, 1977
Lakeland Civic Center

For what it’s worth, this gets my vote. This is a great version and show. This should definitely be nearer the top.
Brown Eyed Women
May 9, 1977
War Memorial

I think it is the best version. Less than 1/4 the votes of Cornell but it is better. End of the day, I am glad to own both. I am glad for the other 77 versions and the slower 72 versions too.

St. Paul Civic Center Arena

All May 77 Peggy O’s are great including this one. I have always loved this song and this is a great version.
