Not my favorite song but an excellent version. Bobby rocks out.

Eyes Of The World

Nassau Coliseum

This will move way up with the DaP 38 bonus disk release.

Nothing much to add. For 47 minutes. it is far less spacy than you might think. It starts with a strong DS structure, segues into a short and strong drums, not your bathroom break variety, moves on into the main portion which meanders around but is only truly in space for a few minutes, and then builds up to a huge climax. Finally it has a triumphant return and fades away into Sugar Magnolia. Although it meanders, other than a couple minutes of space, any individual portion has direction, the direction is just continually changing. I don’t always love DS because I don’t love Space, but this is my favorite. This is everything that DS should be.

Fantastic. Definitely one of my favorite 4 or 5 shows. I would like to see more official releases of 1970 acoustic sets.
The Music Never Stopped

War Memorial

what a great show! This rocks into the intermission. Only “problem” with this version is that 6 1/2 minutes is too short.
Let Me Sing Your Blues Away

William and Mary College Hall

I wouldn’t go so far as to say that I like it, but the best version. It could have made a fun instrumental.
