Portland EXPLODES- One of my favorite Bertha’s, the “Test Me Test Me” line just explodes. I remember looking up and thinking wow, this is going to be

Good version until the "Drink down a bottle and your're ready to kill" and then Jerry shreads it

No Garcia Vocals, but he shreds the ending, one of the best late 70's versions.

Turn On Your Love Light
April 27, 1971
Fillmore East

Another Monster Lovelight from 1970, I wish I could have seen just one of these roller coaster Lovelights, This one is one of the best of ’70, give it a listen.
The Music Never Stopped
Sept. 25, 1981
Stabler Arena

Just listened this version for the first time in 32 years, don’t make the same mistake. A titanic final conclusion, (harsh cut in the SBD) with Weir over the top, ended one the best first sets I saw live.
Darkness Jam
Sept. 19, 1970
Fillmore East

Just heard this one for the first time tonight, very short 1 minute or so, but very sweet rifts in the middle of a amazing, frenetic NFA> Darkness Jam> China Cat Jam> NFA. I need to nominate some others as well. This is an underrated, (unknown) Jam and more versions need to be nominated.
Alabama Getaway
Nov. 4, 1979
Civic Center

It really was a well rehearsed debut, smoking out of the gate and one of the better transitions into Greatest. Glad I made the extra effort to hit this show at the end of a long tour.
Cold Rain and Snow
July 4, 1986
Rich Stadium

Better video, most of the 2nd set http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yYH99tl2EQ
