Wharf Rat
Sept. 1, 1979
Holleder Memorial Stadium
Great powerful version, (Phil is possessed) from an underrated show, give it a listen.

Not Fade Away
Aug. 31, 1979
Glenns Falls Civic Center
Great intro, Weir on slide, (yes well played Weir slide), some nice jamming between verses, more slide, (not as nice), another jam after the NFA coda

Franklin's Tower
Sept. 5, 1979
Madison Square Garden
Another solid version from the Fall ’79 tour, neat closing jam, not as long as the 2 amazing Cape Cod versions, but worth a listen

Franklin's Tower
Sept. 1, 1979
Holleder Memorial Stadium
Out of an amazing and way underrated Half-Step, this version rocks. Not quite up to the Cape Cod versions, but Fall ’79 rules. Give it a listen.

Satisfaction
April 25, 1983
The Spectrum
Another smoking version from Spring ’83. Just listened to it for the first time in 29-1/2 years. Great Bobby rap again, Get No, Get No, No No No!

Here Comes Sunshine
Oct. 30, 1973
Kiel Auditorium
Another great version from the fall of ’73, in the opener slot to boot, can’t wait to hear the rest of the show.
Here Comes Sunshine
Nov. 9, 1973
Winterland Arena
Outstanding version, just silky smooth. Nov / Dec ’73 has my favorite versions of HCS, this one needs more votes. On par with 11/14 San Diego and 11/17 UCLA versions.
Shakedown Street
Oct. 31, 1979
Nassau Coliseum
Another great version from the fall of ’79, the jam builds very slow and steady, driven by some great keyboards by Brent, but the band never peaks like 10/25 New Haven, but still very good. This version should have more votes, give it a listen.
Shakedown Street
Oct. 25, 1979
New Haven Coliseum
The best Shakedown from the fall of ’79 issued on RT Vol. 1 No, 1, sadly the only song from a great show that made it on this Road Trips, every show on the Sept & Oct East Coast tours are worth seeking out.
Jack Straw
July 2, 1988
Oxford Plains Speedway
Phil was definitely sending a message, “Wake Up Jerry” after a lackadaisical Iko Iko opener. The mix was also weird at the beginning, hard to get your levels right with Phil hammering it home. A must listen for any Jack Straw / Phil fan but not really not on par with some of the other amazing Jack Straw’s from ’78 thru 1980, even a few from ’84 beat this one IMHO.
