Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad
Jan. 12, 1979
The Spectrum

Out of a great NFA, this Going Down the Road rocks, Weir is strumming chords like a madman and Phil drops a few bombs for good measure, give it a try.

Not Fade Away
Jan. 12, 1979
The Spectrum

Great version, slow powerful into then 14 + jamming minutes from an underrated show. Wish there was a SBD, give it a listen anyway.

The Mighty Quinn (Quinn The Eskimo)
Dec. 30, 1985
Oakland Coliseum

Must give a nod to the first one, the only one I know of with a middle Jerry solo.

Greatest Story Ever Told
Aug. 20, 1983
Frost Amphitheatre

Just exactly perfect, the moment when Jerry starts his solo and the sound wave pulsated through the crowd.

Sugar Magnolia
Dec. 30, 1985
Oakland Coliseum

Very aggressive transition into Sunshine Daydream, someone calls out 1, 2, 3, 4 and then bam. Worth the listen.

Foolish Heart
July 12, 1990
Robert F. Kennedy Stadium

Good version for sure, but what follows is outstanding.
Believe It Or Not
July 29, 1988
Laguna Seca Recreation Area

The second (and last) of only 2 times I heard this song, this is a great version from a GREAT show.
Morning Dew
June 23, 1988
Alpine Valley Music Theatre

Set closing Dew’s always seemed to have that extra umphh! Good version, nice Phil bombs, can’t think of a better Dew from ’88.
Morning Dew
Sept. 2, 1980
Community War Memorial Auditorium

Best early 80’s I saw and surprised it only has 1 vote. Great, great version, Dick’s Picks 21 filler, give it a listen.
Morning Dew
April 27, 1977
Capitol Theatre

If May 8th is most people’s favorite version, (at least the most votes for a 70’s version) than this one should be in second place, I was amazed that I did not know this version, right there with Cornell, top 5 all time and it need to be heard and have more votes, give it a listen.
