Pine Knob Music Theater

Aiko Aiko was a great opener to an average show. Jerry had some good leads and great vocals to finish.

Black Peter
April 14, 1978
Cassell Coliseum - Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University

The “Run and See” portion of this Black Peter is off the charts, the best I have heard. The Charlie Miller SB transfer is outstanding, give it a listen. There needs to be an official release from the Spring ’78 Virginia shows, (2 Virgina , 1 West VA) all are very good.
Aiko Aiko
May 15, 1977
St. Louis Arena

The first one is a good version, coming out of St Stephens. I sure many thought it was Not Fade Away, which they then seamlessly transition into after Aiko. Great sequence, give it a listen.

This one needs more votes, you should have it, Dick's Picks #34, you know the saying "When Phil is on..."

This is when I “Got It”, my third show, up all night started moving forward after the break, found a milk crate about 100’ from the massive stage, the Half-Step in the first set gave me chills, but this Eyes just transcended space and time that day, (It was my first dance song at my wedding, some 23 years later) and continues to inspire me.
