Good early version, (5th time played) The only time I saw it close the first set, worth a listen.

Dark Star > Drums / Space > Dark Star Almost 38 minutes, loved when you got the second verse, this one is great, with Branford Marsalis and Hornsby.

Another great 1980 China> Rider, from one of the best Pre-Drum sets ever. Smokin’, Give it a listen.

My favorite “Wish I was a Headlight”, if you knew this version, you would vote. Give it a listen.

China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider

Rec Hall, Penn State U

The final jam goes at least once more around than usual. Weir is strumming like a mad man and Lesh as many power chords, great version.RT Vol. 3 No. 4

Days Between
Dec. 19, 1994
Sports Arena

Seeking out all the Days Between, thought I should start with the Best, this version did not disappoint. Starting to have a greater appreciation of Late Inning Dead, the 30-Trips Boxset has opened my ears to 92'-94'
Days Between
March 27, 1993
Knickerbocker Arena

30-Trips version, very haunting like most versions, need to seek out more, this really is one of the best Hunter/ Garcia compositions of any era.
Blow Away
Oct. 26, 1989
Miami Arena

Probably the best Blow Away I saw live, now issued on the 30-Trips Box Set, Garcia is wailing during the final extended vocals by Brent, never brought it back down after the “Wait a Minute”, it dissolves into a sick Dark Star, what a great 2nd set, the last show of the tour. I only saw the first shows. Hampton and last in Miami, equal to Spring 90' as being the last GREAT tour.
Blow Away
July 7, 1989
JFK Stadium

1st Blow Away I can recall with the extended rap, I didn't start the Summer 89' tour until the next show in Giant's Stadium, but all were raving about this Blow Away. On the Crimson, White & Indigo DVD you can see how much Jerry loved the rap as well, great way to end the set.
Looks Like Rain
March 24, 1988
Omni Coliseum

Great late 80's version, Myland is again playing like he's possessed, Rain, Rain, Rain, great Garcia distortion, thunder drums, doesn’t get must better, Take it Away, Take it Away, Love It, Listen and Vote!
