Great powerful version, (Phil is possessed) from an underrated show, give it a listen.

Not Fade Away

Glenns Falls Civic Center

Great intro, Weir on slide, (yes well played Weir slide), some nice jamming between verses, more slide, (not as nice), another jam after the NFA coda

Another solid version from the Fall ’79 tour, neat closing jam, not as long as the 2 amazing Cape Cod versions, but worth a listen

Franklin's Tower

Out of an amazing and way underrated Half-Step, this version rocks. Not quite up to the Cape Cod versions, but Fall ’79 rules. Give it a listen.

The Spectrum

Another smoking version from Spring ’83. Just listened to it for the first time in 29-1/2 years. Great Bobby rap again, Get No, Get No, No No No!

Mississippi Halfstep Uptown Toodeloo

Omni Coliseum

Very hot late 80's version, The final jam is epic, Myland playing like he's possessed, A great 2nd set opener, the LLR that follows is also very good.
Looks Like Rain

Oxford Plains Speedway

This one is worth a listen, a great version. Now released on the 30-Trips box set, (yes it has taken me 6-months to get to 88') and it must have been the first time hearing it since that crazy weekend in Maine, just gave me tingles. Heard LLR live 67 times and well over 1,000 times since, always has been one of my favorites, cheesey lyrics aside, it was always sung with passion, this version is no different. On par with another great 88' version from Atlanta. This one need more votes, listen and vote.
The Music Never Stopped

Augusta Civic Center

I love this version, released on 30-Trips Around the Sun boxset, the whole show is very good
The Music Never Stopped

Worcester Centrum

Just listened again, (about 10 times) I love this version, released on 30-Trips Around the Sun boxset, it's worthy, the whole show is worthy. I like the Matrix or even just the audience recording, https://archive.org/details/gd1983-10-21.aud.silberman.348.shnf (I was patched into Jeff Silbermans' rig, 2nd Row center), much better than the 30-Trips version, the kick-drum is more muted. One of the best shown opening Music's ever played.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Oct. 21, 1983
Worcester Centrum

Was at this show and needed to vote for it a long tome ago, just gave the 30-Trips Around the Sun boxset version a listen, WOW!, Great Scarlet, one of the nicest fluid transition jams you will ever hear and an OK Fire. Your really can't be too critical of the Fire, just not on par with Hartford a week before, don't wait give it a listen and vote.
