Aiko Aiko
Sept. 16, 1990
Madison Square Garden
Jerry rides in with a trumpet solo at the 5:50 mark. Phil follows him along. Fantastic interplay and gorgeous solo from Garcia ala Freddie Hubbard.
Truckin'
April 16, 1972
Aarhus University
It's hard to imagine a more explosive version. The entire band crushes this. They drop it to the sea floor then launch it into outer space. Several waves of energy throughout. Garcia uses minimal notes but at maximum power. Play it loud!
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
July 7, 1989
JFK Stadium
During the transition Jerry and Brent are melodic twins. Jerry's solo after the second verse in FOTM could be described as his most explosive of the 1980's
Crazy Fingers

A tour de force from Hornsby. He absolutely shines here.
Not Fade Away
Dec. 29, 1977
