Sure it's only a tease that's aborted for El Paso, but it's Veneta, so it has to be the best!

High energy. Part of a very underrated show.

Melodic and intense, by far my favorite space melts into Stella. Very underrated show.

Cumberland Blues
July 17, 1989
Alpine Valley Music Theatre

The 17th wasn't even the best show of the Alpine run much less the entire year. LOL. 89 was a very strong year in general, though.
Samson and Delilah
June 30, 1985
Merriweather Post Pavilion

My favorite as well. Feeds off the energy of the crazy Shakedown that precedes it.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Oct. 19, 1981
Sports Palace

As great as this is, and it is arguably my favorite S>F, the Sailor>Saint that follows is one of the best moments of the entire Brent era. This whole set is criminally underrated.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain

Horton Field House - Illinois State University

"Overdoes it" is way too kind. "Ruins it" is closer to the truth with Bobby's slide playing on this one.
Stella Blue
March 21, 1994
Richfield Coliseum

Did you consider 10/15/89? That one melts out of Space and is my favorite by a country mile.
