Sure it's only a tease that's aborted for El Paso, but it's Veneta, so it has to be the best!

High energy. Part of a very underrated show.

Melodic and intense, by far my favorite space melts into Stella. Very underrated show.

Why Don't We Do It In The Road
April 7, 1985
The Spectrum

Revolution and Tomorrow Never Knows are my favorite Beatles covers, although none even come close to the JGB Dear Prudence.
Uncle John's Band
June 17, 1991
Giants Stadium

This is by far my favorite post-Brent show, and the phenomenal Truckin>Speedway>UJB sequence with Dark Star weaved throughout all three songs is the highlight of the show.
Morning Dew
Aug. 27, 1972
Old Renaissance Faire Grounds

This should get more votes than Blow Away at least.
Dark Star
April 14, 1972
Tivolis Koncertsal

This is my favorite Dark Star. The post-verse jam including the Feelin Groovy part it morphs into from about 19 mins to 25 mins might be my favorite single Grateful Dead jam of all. This one is the perfect length at 29 mins. There's enough time to properly explore all of the themes and throw in a little space to boot without dragging or including the unlistenable non-musical noise that tend to infest the longer versions.
Morning Dew
Nov. 30, 1973
Boston Music Hall

This and the 12/2 version are interesting bookends for DP 14 as they open the first show with Dew and close the third show of the run with it as the encore. I prefer this one by a lot. It is fresh and energetic as they jump feet first into the 3 night run. The 12/2 version feels tired like they are mentally and physically exhausted after 3 days and 10 hours of incredible music and ready to move on.
