I totally agree. This is one I come back to a lot. The whole DP14 disc 2 from HCS to Sugar Mag gets heavy rotation for me. This was a little before my time, but I can't imagine how fantastic it would have been to see all that brand new material featured so prominently like that (contrast to the Built To Last material that was mostly just a couple throw away first set songs in fall 89...). I definitely would have immediately bought Wake after that show if I didn't have it already.

Just saw this on Festival Express on AXS TV. Very cool electric version with a nice Nobody's Fault jam in the middle. The film then cuts to Garcia jamming on CC Rider with the band Great Speckled Bird. Definitely worth a view.

This transition is great. It starts at about 3:30 of the Space track in the Dave's Pick tracking. Definitely my #1 Brent-era Wheel.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain

This is great. I was listening to Dave's Pick on my commute this morning and it made me smile. I think I still prefer the Barcelona 81 version as my favorite Brent-era S>F, but this one is pretty similar. They both have that tension/release build up in the transition that falls right into Fire. I think Barcelona's transition is even a little better done than this one. This one has a better Scarlet (especially the solo before "wind in the willows"), but I think Barcelona's Fire hits higher peaks. I like that Brent's sound in this show is very rich and full and not the plinkety plinkety that sometimes plagues pre-coma Brent shows.

I agree with cgarces on this one. There are at least 5 mins of completely unlistenable non-music before the MLB jam. I had to edit it out and retrack. LOL.
