Sure it's only a tease that's aborted for El Paso, but it's Veneta, so it has to be the best!

Melodic and intense, by far my favorite space melts into Stella. Very underrated show.

Help On The Way > Slipknot > Franklin's Tower
April 9, 1983
Hampton Coliseum

I'm generally a fan of the 81-84 era, but I never got the love for this show. It's one of the sloppiest I've ever heard in terms of blown/forgotten lyrics, rushed songs, and missed entries in nearly every song. This H>S>F is a microcosm of everything that is wrong with this show. Jerry forgets multiple verses, the pace is hyperspeed and the whole thing is shorter than a lot of standalone Franklin's. Pass.

I prefer this one slightly over Augusta, but they're both great. Hunter's matrix is the copy to have for this show.

The one that rivals this one is 9/2/79.

Huh? It's hard to find a Jack Straw that isn't superb.

This place needs a general message board, too. I've thought that before as well.
