This is a set that everyone should hear at least once just because it's so unique. The pre-drums 20+ min Let It Grow is like no other version of that song, then the post-space Truckin' train wreck that they turn into another totally unique jam (with Jerry's little Nobody's Fault jab at Bob at the end for good measure for f-ing up the vocals...). Maybe not the best show ever, but definitely one that needs to be heard.

@Jaivo. I love 7/7/89, it was my first show and a great one, but I agree with your assessment of this song. I prefer the Cal Expo 6/10/90 version of Box Of Rain to this one.
Throwing Stones

This is my go-to version of this song even with some minor lyrical flubs. The solo is given a little more umph and Bobby was singing his heart out all night at this show. The earlier 83-84 versions were more jammed out and the combo with Not Fade Away here was still treated as Throwing Stones > Not Fade Away, a featured post-space song for Bob and a separate show closer, not just Throw > Away, the single show closer medley it eventually morphed into.

@Grendel, there was an upgrade of the board posted at LL recently. The sound is very clean, but I find that Bob's guitar is mixed way too high relative to Jerry's to the point where it's a little distracting.
