Agreed @Tigerpop. This whole segment is really cool. The HCS with the long post-jam that disintegrates into Space, then the drops lightly into a crackling Bobby McGee, then the gorgeous embryonic WRS intro jam into this lilting Eyes. It's one of my favorite segments of the era.

This is the best 90's version. The 73 version with the Allmans is the best by a mile, although it's almost not fair to consider that as the same song as these.

I'm also a little surprised this wasn't listed at all yet, but it's definitely not one of my favorites. Brent's entry on his verse is kind of a train wreck and a momentum killer. This is one of the best shows of the era, but not because of Good Lovin'.

@grendel, I'm definitely with you on the dissonance, but they do keep it under control here. A couple minutes to build up tension, fine, I can deal with that and it's an integral part of the Sugar Mags transition in this case, too. On the longer versions of Dark Star (and other songs like the 12/2/73 Playin') from this era, it stretches out to 5, 6, 8, 10 minutes, and it's like, c'mon, get on with it, boys, this is terrible.
