Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again
July 7, 1989
JFK Stadium

Is JFK the Cornell of the Brent era? #1 versions on here of Aiko, Rooster, Ramble On Rose, Memphis Blues, Blow Away (3x the votes of #2), Box Of Rain, and Knockin'. #2 versions of Bucket & SOTM, Top 5 (and #1 post-K&D) Scarlet->Fire. Top 5 Loser. #2 Brent-era Wharf Rat (behind only the iconic MPP '83 version where God was playing in the band...). Is it that that many people really have CW&I? I didn't think that was more widespread than other official releases. This was my first show. It's no wonder I got hooked for life.

Thanks for the rec. This is really great. In terms of spontaneous improvisation, this reminds me a little of the Sailor > Saint jam from 10/19/81 coming from out of nowhere.

This is off topic, but I wanted to let everyone know that HV's top contributor Glyn Parson recently passed away due to complications from lyme disease. I grew up playing midget football and went to high school with Glyn. Even though we both went to the same first show (7/7/89), I didn't know he was going at the time and only found out about the true depth of his GD fandom years later. He is a good soul and will be missed in this world. https://www.maestumpfuneralhome.com/obituary/glyn-parson

Wait, why did you vote for this one? I can't really tell.
