Friend of the Devil
April 19, 1978
Veterans Memorial Auditorium

This FotD is a beauty. The vocals are sweet, and the solos flow like butter; just amazing.

Sitting on Top of the World
March 24, 1988
Omni Coliseum

This was soundchecked at a show sometime in ‘88; this date may not be accurate. Look for the “GD Home Movies” video on YouTube from LoloYodel

Throwing Stones

Hartford Civic Center

Opening for JGB w/ Rob Wasserman. Very good acoustic version with great vocals from Bob.

The Harder They Come
Aug. 29, 1987
French's Camp

This is probably the best one I’ve heard JGB do. Jerry’s vocals are superb, almost 78 like. The jam in the middle is essential.

Oh Babe It Ain't No Lie
Dec. 6, 1980
Mill Valley Recreation Center

Not played since the Warfield/RCMH run, and it shows a little, but overall it’s still pretty good

The first post-hiatus version, and it’s oh so sweet
They Love Each Other
April 13, 1983
Patrick Gymnasium, U of Vermont

The jam on this rides the line between TLEO and something completely unique. This is my new favorite version by far
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Sept. 8, 1973
Nassau Coliseum

From the Feelin’ Groovy jam onward, this version is top tier for sure. The China Cat however feels very choppy and awkward. Still a good version though
He's Gone
Sept. 8, 1973
Nassau Coliseum

This one is extra great, especially the outro jam. One of the best I’ve heard
Shakedown Street
April 15, 1983
Community War Memorial Auditorium

This version is really good. Brent’s keyboards are high in the mix(especially at the beginning), and the solos are magical
