Jerry screws up the lyrics on Lady With a Fan, but overall this is a pretty good version. The outro jam is pretty unique also.

It was very rare for the Dead to play a slow River in the 80s, but this is almost ‘74 speed! Love it!

Love the backwards into the this UJB. This and the whole second set is a Jerry lover’s set. A Ramble On Rose, Terrapin, UJB, Wheel, and China Doll in one set!? Insane

This one seems to go kinda under the radar, but it’s one of the best. The playing on it is sublime, and Jerry’s vocals are extra emotive and sad. It feels like he’s playing and singing like it was the last time they would ever play it. Just incredible

I’ve been listening to this one a lot lately, and it’s soul-wrenching. As for the playing, this is the second best DS, coming up short to 6/17. As for Ken Kesey’s rap about Bill, it’s powerful. You can feels his and the bands emotions, and his story about Brokedown Palace is gut-wrenching. It’s truly an all-time versions. “How do you like your blue-eyed boy now, Mr. Death?”

The groove on this one is just too good. They take it extra slow, which provides for an extra tightness and groove. I’ve gotta know what Bob’s doing towards the end of the first solo in Fire. It’s incredible
