Jerry screws up the lyrics on Lady With a Fan, but overall this is a pretty good version. The outro jam is pretty unique also.

From GarciaLive 1. Very funky with very good vocals from Jerry. Give it a listen!

Not a very special version, but has some good vocals. Not too rushed either.

It was very rare for the Dead to play a slow River in the 80s, but this is almost ‘74 speed! Love it!

Day Job

Madison Square Garden

Great version of Day Job coming out of the quintessential Hell in a Bucket. This song has an early Beatles vibe that I really dig.

Great version, but the version on Europe ‘72 is much better
Good Lovin'
May 3, 1972
Olympia Theater

This is a great Good Lovin’, definitely different from other Europe ‘72 versions. About halfway through, it starts to get spacey, with Phil and Pigpen playing around and having fun. Phil seemingly wants to get back to the main theme throughout the jam, but no one else is having it, until Phil finally coaxes everyone back down to Earth, and it explodes! Great version!
Dark Star
June 17, 1991
Giants Stadium

The Dark Star teases alone makes this a favorite show. Hornsby flirts with DS the entire show, but can’t quite score a date, though the attempts are well made, especially with Weir, Garcia, and everyone else’s help. Great show!
Chinatown Shuffle

Olympia Theater

Keith’s solo is amazing on this version. Never paid too much attention to this song; what was I thinking!? Great show also
He's Gone

Uptown Theater

This one might be my favorite. Jerry’s sweet vocals mixed with impeccable solos make this one incredible. The outro jam is very good as well, segueing into a spacey version of The Other One. Great version
