This FotD is a beauty. The vocals are sweet, and the solos flow like butter; just amazing.

Sitting on Top of the World

Omni Coliseum

This was soundchecked at a show sometime in ‘88; this date may not be accurate. Look for the “GD Home Movies” video on YouTube from LoloYodel

Opening for JGB w/ Rob Wasserman. Very good acoustic version with great vocals from Bob.

The Harder They Come

French's Camp

This is probably the best one I’ve heard JGB do. Jerry’s vocals are superb, almost 78 like. The jam in the middle is essential.

Oh Babe It Ain't No Lie

Mill Valley Recreation Center

Not played since the Warfield/RCMH run, and it shows a little, but overall it’s still pretty good

Truckin'
March 28, 1985
Nassau Coliseum

This might be my favorite show opening sequence ever. The first chorus in this Truckin is the most reminiscent of the studio version imho, and the jam into Smokestack is wonderful. Great Smokestack w/ Matt Kelly on harmonica. It goes into a beautiful High Time. Jerry’s voice, though rugged, is just right.
Looks Like Rain

Love this LLR. Jerry rips it up in pieces at the end with some nice vocals from Bobby. It segues nicely into a great version of Deal
Wang Dang Doodle
Sept. 11, 1983
Downs of Santa Fe

Love this version. The extended jam ‘cause of issues with Bobby’s mic makes this version extra special.

Parc des Expositions

I definitely prefer the slower versions(especially with Brent), but this FOTD is the best of the faster arrangement imho. Bill’s drum groove kills!

This is a great space from a great show.
