This a JGB version. This one always gets me emotional. One of the best R&Cs ever performed. Jerry’s voice!

Great version. Love Jerry’s MIDI effects on this, and Bruce and Vince kill it. Great video of the show from Shakedown Stream.

This one is one of the best from this tour. The only thing I have against this version is for the first half it’s pretty average. It just kinda chugs along. But by the second verse it’s starting to take off. I really enjoy that they jammed this one out more. I still think 5/8/77(I know) is the best ever, this one is up there; some top 10 material

It’s sad that they only played this live 3 times. The intro on this one is extra eerie, and Jerry’s vocals are perfect

Love when they do Dancin’ sandwiches. This one is no exception. Well played into the first Mojo. Great playing, good stuff. Need to check this whole show out, seems kinda overlooked in the magic that is Spring ‘77

This is one of my favorites. The jams before they segue into the song are fun, and the Jack-a-Roe is kind of unexpected. It’s nicely played, and it’s sadly the only version of ‘78. Good stuff

Edit: Just now learned that the “second guitarist” I was hearing was David Grisman on mandolin. Learn something new everyday
