Keith really adds some intensity. Do you know where your train is at 2am?

I can't believe this one isn't here. Short but very sweet.

Whoa, I can't believe this hasn't been submitted. Great vocal and four minutes of sublime outro solo. Check it out!

Sugar Magnolia

You can't get this song too country for me. Not a huge fan of the song in general, because Bobby and Donna get a little too much for me, as Bobby does from the 7:20 mark on. Which ruins it for me.
Around and Around

Jerry does a wild, neverending coda. Bobby says good night, we aren't having it, and they do Casey Jones as an encore.

Some really fine playing by Jerry here. Vocally not nearly the best, though. A very long show, so they were getting tired. So were we; at least I was able to just stagger home to Mirrielees House.
Dark Star

The sort of Dark Star to listen to just before bedtime -- this one is a lullaby. As others have noted, they seem to be in a telepathic dream state. Was this enough for Dick to call 2/15 one of the top 10 shows of the year? For this listerner, this DS is top 5. The mellow vibe carries into Eyes. This is the Dead at the top of their game.
Eyes Of The World

Assembly Hall, University Of Illinois

Yes, the mellow approach suits me. Dick said this entire second set was great. In fact here's what he said about the 21st and 22nd: "The second sets from both nights are fucking fantastic!!! It simply doen't get any better or anywhere close, for that matter, until 9/8/73." So it's sort of weird that all the folks who say that 1973 is their favorite year haven't weighed in on them here.
