I think the original tempo is more reflective of the spirit of the lyrics. I like the twang here.

I was at this show. My buddy's girlfriend had all our weed in her purse, which they searched at the door and removed. Phil told us that some folks didn't make it home the night before. I was, frankly, frightened and could not enjoy the show that much.
