I absolutely agree with you about one drummer, but that's not a popular position. From listening to songs with just Bill, I have decided that he has a lot to do with how well the song turns out. It starts with the tempo he has chosen from the onset of the song. With two drummers, that dynamic is less likely to occur. Also, I don't care for how hard Mickey strikes the drums. At times, the drums sound cluttered and interfere with the melody.
