Whale call city, and from Bobby no less. Sometimes I wish they played this more, but then it wouldn't make this special tune oh so special. Soulful and genuinely beautiful and melancholic. What a rare gem. Jerry kills it and performs his big ol heart out.

I'm pretty picky when it comes to my Shakedowns, especially these early versions, but man this has easily become one of my favorite versions out there. Captures the feel of the song incredibly well and is an impeccable showcase of the bands musicianship. Wolf gets funky and blue. Howlin' all night for it's darling. Just plain awesome.

Machine gun Jerry. Absolutely wonderful and incredibly playful jamming. Genuinely explorative and has Jerry painting with fast strokes of his brush. Wolf is let loose and finds his way down Shakedown Street. Incredible all timer of a second set. Tastiest of sandwiches.

Transcendent jamming. Genuinely one of the best Good Lovin’s ever played even without the CCS. What a ride. Will come back to this till the end of time.

Smoking craters. A jazz clinic that has pure magic embedded into the music. An elastic ping pong jam ensues which has the lads exploring vast fantasy like landscapes. What a jam. Hugely underrated. The stuff of legends.
