Stunningly epic, that second jams will have me coming back again, and again, and again, and…you get the picture. Super cool meltdown with a very early tiger jam. Seriously the jam after is some heady stuff. Jerry chugs and slashes his guitar signaling the transition into another space which is primal and ferocious in nature. Cool witchy moments too. Love this Dark Star and this show.

Takes you right to church. Brent is preaching to the almighty, and his contributions are incredible and add some new layers to this ever changing music. Especially from 79-81 there was a ferocity in his playing that was so unique. His organ work is unbeaten. Great version.

Crazy that this version is only now in the double digits. This is up there with the best of the best. Genuinely electrifying that shoots down your nervous system and gets in your bloodstream. Brent is really finding his footing and you can hear how his contributions really shape the bands new sound at this time. Also Phil, the master of earth, out here causing tectonic shifts on this one.

Audio is a little crazy but if you’re able to get past that, this would be the definition of Diamond in the rough. A stunning Rio Grande section to transition into a spiritual Franklins. This is awesome and beautifully played. The band was on fire that night.
