Nice early electric version. Always preferred this key for Dire Wolf compared to when they changed it in the later years. Just right. Nice version.

Takes you right to Chicago. Jerry’s playing emulates the blues greats. Hard rocking version that reminds me of a Junior Wells cut. Highly recommend.

Haunting organ playing. Crystalline and psychedelic early version that feels very spacey. Great vocal delivery.

Very nice solo from Jerry. Phil is all over this as well, some great melodic bass playing that compliments the song very well.

These early 70s Jack Straws have so much Charm. Silky smooth rendition full of grace and wonderful joyous interplay. Surprised this isn’t here yet.

Genuinely incredible transition into this spacey and contemplative version. Lovely haunting version full of cosmic goo.

Communication with extraterrestrial lifeforms in the dead of night. With only the light of distant stars to guide you through this formless and exploratory Dark Star, this version is inventive and full of incredible ideas. An electric jazz sextet exploring fractal spaces and geometrical landscapes with tribal drumming to accompany this celestial and otherworldly sheets of sound. My favorite of 1974 and one of the most intergalactically haunting and electrifying lobotomizing performances I've ever heard.

Dionysian style jamming. A beautiful and spacey gateway into the deepest and darkest parts of the cosmos that the band have explored up to that date, imagine the minds blown in Montana that day? Great version from one of my favorite shows.

Super fluid. Poignant guitar playing that’s pure liquid diamond. Great early version that flows so nicely. Short and sweet and perfectly psychedelic. This ones actually really good.

So good. A jaunty and jangly, one of my favorite versions that swings and sways like the psychedelic carnival ride it embodies so well. Such a beautiful sound.
