Stunning version. Sung with lots of passion, and during the solo, Jerry lets Wolf run loose and lets her howl. Great version from a great show!

China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider

Some small but smile inducing Friend of The Devil and Tico Tico teases at the beginning. Sweet sweet China Cat Sunflower take me away. So playful and carefree. Lots of subtle yet incredible interplay. The energy on this is simply amazing. Jerry channels The Cheshire Cat as Alice makes her way through wonderland. Beautiful transition into Rider, which feels strong rhythmically. A particularly thumping version. Great version.

The Other One

Powerful. Keith’s abilities are put on full display and are even put through the test through this heralding adventure. A stunning early version with a great Cryptical no less. The blueprint for later 72 versions and beyond, I love how egoless Jerry’s playing is here, Keith is the player Jerry really needed to explore further into the deep dark and highest of lights in music. This is a fine example of how Keith opened Jerry up. Lovely version. Also Phil is just murdering the bass in this version. ALSO THAT TRANSITION INTO DEAL? Real deal dead here ladies and gentleman. Make sure to pick your brain up off the floor after this.
