Brent's spacey Rhodes solo makes the outro jam stand out

A hidden gem. Sizzling version for Jer's bday. Great build jam in Saint and nice bonus jam during "fo' sho's"

Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Dec. 26, 1981
Oakland Auditorium

Absolutely wonderful version. Very unrushed transition jam, with Jerry playing very expressively. The FIre doesn't peak as hard as some other versions, but the band is together and Jerry's playing is incredibly on point. The crowd's extended applause afterwards is very well-deserved.
The Other One

Boston Music Hall

Cut from the same cloth as the longer, more lauded 9/17 version. Very psychedelic and propulsive. Keith uses the wah-wah pedal on his piano to trippy effect. Around 8:30, Billy goes into an 11/4 beat for 30 seconds or so. Nice touch.

The Summit

Jerry pulls a George Benson and vocalizes his guitar solo in the end jam - really off the charts version.
The Wheel

Long Beach Arena

Fantastic version. The outro jam is somewhere between Playin' and Caution IMHO. Jerry absolutely tears it up.

I heard this the other day. It's ok. Tell me though why the hell Vince plays his stupid sax synth line WHEN THERE IS A REAL SAX PLAYER PLAYING THE SONG WITH THEM?
