Excellent conclusion to a Wharf Rat > I Need a Miracle > Bertha > Good Lovin'. From Road Trips Vol. 1, No. 1. Finishes with an energetic flourish.

Really beautiful, which is a word that can be used to describe a lot of June 1976 stuff.

For comparison, I'm blown away by Jerry's playing in the current #1 spot (5/8/77 of course). But this one feels more like a full band effort rather than just a showcase for Jerry. My ears may deceive me though, I will of course listen to both versions again.

Really great version. Jam runs from just before the 4:00 mark to about 10:30 on the official release. The drop back in at the end of jam is killer... I wasn't even sure they were going to come back the first time I heard it, and then I was grinning when they did! Highly recommended! Then it flows to Eyes and then Let It Grow... might as well listen to it all!

Beautiful, beautiful stuff. '76 is a sound all its own.
Looks Like Rain

This version has an amazing peak, musically and vocally. Well worth a listen! Looks Like Rain grew on me over time... didn't like it at first, thought the vocals were cheesy (well, still do haha), but slowly I started to like it. Now I compare versions over the years to hear the differences. Being a Deadhead is a journey, I guess is what I'm getting at. I hope you're enjoying wherever you are on that journey.
