A scorcher, love the energy on this one, really swingin'!

One More Saturday Night

Beat Club
So, so tight! Holy shit! Spontanius combustion in the later half of this, my god. The video only makes it better!

Turn On Your Love Light
Nov. 15, 1969
Lanai Theater
Downright TRIBAL! If this had better sound quality it would be considered one of the best of '69. Helluva ride, clocking in at 42 minutes. Spin it!

Good Lovin'
Nov. 15, 1969
Lanai Theater
Embryonic Good Lovin', but fascinating thinking of how Good Lovin' transformed over the next two years.

Easy Wind

Sweet, sweet Pig. So laid back, this Easy Wind is sleazy as should be.

St. Stephen
Feb. 12, 1969
Fillmore East
Nice breakdown after the "Ladyfinger" part, standard St. Stephen for the year though, but it's tight.
Let It Grow
June 19, 1976
Capitol Theatre
The drum break is something i always come back to, in some ways '76 was like a new '68 for Bill & Mickey, this version is a good example.
One More Saturday Night
May 7, 1972
Bickershaw Festival
Maybe my 2nd favourite of the tour right behind the Beat Club version. Mr. Garcia indeed, this one is intense but controlled and laid back at the same time. It's in the key of C, and it's their new single, and you should run out and buy it!
Turn On Your Love Light
May 7, 1972
Bickershaw Festival
darkstar67 is 100% correct here: The most rocked out-groovin'-hip swinging Lovelight ever, this and the Hundred Year Hall versions are just too good; which makes it hard to pick the better one of the two.
Dark Star
April 8, 1972
Wembley Empire Pool
djchall, with it's chord progression it's quite similiar to the MLB jams, and since the ending jam of the 9/21 DS is seen as the "first MLB" you could say this is a proto-MLB, it evokes that feeling for me atleast. Amazing jam nonetheless, and what a segue.
