Pigpen drives hard here, harmonica all the way. Early fireball, only giving us a glimpse of what Caution would turn into in only a year!

Really bluesy, love the Guild Starfire sound Jer had here. Flows into a groovy early Caution.

Jazz. Just plain jazz. Keith really shines together with Billy on this one, they carry you away in the nicest way. How the he** is this not listed?

Bill jazzes on throughout the transition, and the jam goes just a little bit furhter than before. Cool version with a laid back IKYR.

Maybe, just maybe some of their most jammed out nights ever, and it pays off so well. Amazing performance.

This has more potent Dirt jams than the Winterland version and is much less refined, but wilder and more jammed out. Those two shows really stand out, and they are quickly becoming some of my favourite ones.

What a suite, this Winterland show and the Kezar show has really gotten into my brains recently, they really were onto something special jam-wise in these shows, it's amazing.

The video made it all the better, the two-drummer jazz style (compared to the allout jazz drumming in the '72-'74 version) they had on the Playin' (SHINES in '76. What a year.
